LONDON: Rihanna's topless video shoot in a field came to an abrupt end – when a farmer told her to cover up, reported British daily The Sun on Tuesday.

The songbird bared her boobs while filming the promo to her latest single in Bangor, Northern Ireland.

But when the land owner spotted her antics he insisted she stick some clothes on.

Spoilsport Alan Graham said: "I thought was                                                                                   inappropriate. I requested them to stop and they did.

"I had my conversation with Rihanna and I hope she understands where I'm coming from. We shook hands."

After a weekend gig at the Rock In Rio festival she flew to County Down to vamp it up in a hay field in a video for single We Found Love, with Calvin Harris.

Sporting a red two-piece initially and then a black sheer top – the songbird then dispensed with anything over her top half at all – giving her bangers an airing in Bangor.

The fresh northern Irish climate would have come in stark contrast to the chart-topper's most recent port of call.

Rih has been enjoying the scorching sun of South America over recent weeks while on tour in the continent.

She's played a series of shows in Brazil, including Rio and the country's capital Brasilia.

But it's not been all work for the Bajan recently.

In August she managed to sneak in a European holiday before returning to the road.

She forked out £200,000 hiring a yacht for her and her pals, visiting St Tropez and Cannes in the south of France, and Portofino and Sardinia in Italy.

A month earlier the Grammy-winner made a rare return to her homeland Barbados, where she cut loose at a carnival.

And on Thursday she starts a string of UK shows in Belfast.

She then takes in a host of other cities before bringing the trek to an end in Newcastle on October 16.
